“We were very pleased we could help the team, supporting the community is so important to us to carry on our family values. We can’t wait to see them grow and be the next superstars of the England Squad!” – Damian Cull
Cull has been a part of the Wirral community for over 90 years. Starting out in 1926, we have been privileged to be a part of many people’s lives. Over 3 generations, we have continued to value what it is to be a family, placing community, support and trust at the heart of our business.
These values have continued to be an integral part of Cull to this day, influencing our interaction within the community. Damian Cull and a number of staff volunteer at RNLI New Brighton Lifeboat and the company support Poulton Victoria Football Club.
Poulton Victoria Football Club are a local grass roots football team on the Wirral. Their teams range from under 7s to adult football 1st team & Reserves in the West Cheshire League U21s.
Sport is important to the Cull family, with Damian’s love for open water swimming and Tim Cull’s love of skiing. Their appreciation for how sport has improved the wellbeing of their families and how it brings people together is a large reason behind their recent sponsorship of Poulton Victoria Football Club.
Cull has always been entwined in the community and giving back offers a sense of pride in the knowledge that we have been able to support families.
We are proud to have sponsored Poulton Victoria Dortmund Under 7s this season, providing the full home kit for these children. Supporting local teams, especially in such a turbulent year for sport, has meant that we have helped the team to play together, have fun, and succeed.
A spokesperson for the club said, “It was really helpful knowing we didn’t have to worry about the kits this season, it means a lot to the kids to be able to play, and to see their faces light up when they received their kits was amazing.”
Dortmund play in the Eastham Second Division with 8 children on their squad.
