COMPANY HISTORY
Three generations of the Cull family have led the business from its creation in 1926 to today. Our family-led values, customer-focused approach, and high standards remain as important today as they were 95 years ago.
William Cull founded the company in 1926 with a professional photography business based in Birkenhead.
As technology developed, so did the company. Gerald Cull introduced microfilming to the business in 1965 under a new company name, Cull Reprographics.
Scanning and document management solutions were introduced in 1995 by third-generation brothers Tim & Damian Cull, with a corresponding name change to Cull Paperless Solutions.
Today, Cull Paperless Solutions is a thriving and award-winning business. Operating nationally, we support businesses up and down the country to digitise their documents with our expert advice and high-quality output.
Quality
We’re ISO accredited and compliant with all British Standards for document and data management.
You can be sure that the quality, safety, and efficiency of our work, service, and systems are officially approved.
But more than that, we have a 95-year legacy of expert image production. With the customer still at the heart of everything we do, we strive to maintain the highest standards at all times. We pride ourselves on the accuracy and quality of the work we do.
Meet the team
Damian Cull
Managing Director
Damian has overseen all areas of the business, including engineering, accounts, and marketing, for over 25 years.
He joined the family business after a career in engineering at BBC Wood Norton in Evesham and HTV Wales. Look out for a few Welsh sentences creeping into conversation on a good day!
Damian is a keen open water swimmer and volunteers as a Launch Authority for the RNLI at New Brighton. Equally happy on or in the water, he’s a safe and reliable pair of hands in any situation.
Tim Cull
Sales Director
As a highly experienced Sales Director, Tim steers the ship. He is always available to chat to customers, sharing his extensive knowledge of the document management industry.
He is a member of West Kirby Sailing Club where he enjoys both leisure sailing and racing, and in winter, heads up to the slopes of Switzerland to practice his schussing and carving.
Tim’s sporting adventures also extend to the stands. Football is always a welcome conversation, no matter the results!
Warren Caine
Sales and Operations Manager
What Warren doesn’t know about working in the document management industry isn’t worth knowing. Keeping any busy production facility ‘on song’ requires a great many skills and Warren’s wonderful sense of humour is appreciated by both our staff and customers alike.
His open and honest approach to business and his extensive technical knowledge is a winning combination.
And he doesn’t just impress us at work. Warren is committed to serious weight training in his free time and if he has a goal he sticks to it… so don’t challenge him to an arm-wrestle!
Sharon Perlaki
Accounts Manager
Sharon keeps us all in tip-top shape. She has been with the team at Cull since 2009, and has overseen a number of positive changes in the business in that time.
Managing the day-to-day running of the company accounts and finance is no mean feat. With a quiet confidence, Sharon delves into the numbers and ensures we always have the I’s dotted and the T’s crossed.
A keen runner, it’s not just the finances that Sharon makes look easy. So if you see her whizzing past on The Wirral, give her a wave.
